Hi, I'm new here but not to diving, started in 1967. You could say I've been collecting vintage equipment since before it was vintage. It's good to see such a strong interest in diving history here. I will like checking out other collectors equipment here. I collect both scuba and heavy gear. If I can figure out how to post pictures here I will put some of my collection up, computers are not one of my strong points.

This is me on my first dive back in 1967 in upstate New York. That's right no wetsuit, no brain no pain. It also had something to do with having no money. Healthway tank, regulator and backpac $99.00 new. Those were the days. Attachments:

You don't see many of these around. It's a Calypso camera made in France in the 1950's and it still works. This camera came before the Nikonus which was made in Japan. Attachments:

My Norseman double hose which came with a U.S.Navy manual. This was a batch of regulators that the Navy got for testing for possible use. The only thing bad about this is we all know Vikings didn't wear horned helmets. ;D Attachments:

hardhatdiver, great to hear from you. And, you appear to have a working DX Overpressure Breathing regulator! I thought I was the only one with one that still works and has not been converted to the Mistral orifice. Great to see you here.

Here's one right out of Sea Hunt, a Porta-sub u/w propulsion unit. I have alot more stuff but I don't want to bore you with it all at once. I have enough to bore you for many more years to come. ;D Attachments:

Vintage? Works better than most new stuff on the market today! I like the Calypso! I want a green body Calypso, in working condition (ok, everyone has the right to dream) ... Found out Costco still develops film; so, bought a Costco membership ... Hope I can still buy film ... Robert
