Mark, here's why I needed to think about this question: I'd be willing to bet the retainer-clip could be made from one of those rings they use to put sets of keys together with at the hardware store. Not the big ones, but the very light weight ones that most people just throw away after. I'll email you an image soon though just so you get it right...

I was reluctant to share this, as the makeshift exhaust diaphragm looks, well makeshift. But after an hour and one minute underwater yesterday, this is what I returned with. A dry SCUBA reg. inside. Yes, I will clean up the left over corrosion residual. This photo might make us Healthways Divers look bad...but just wanted to share a photo of it completely dry inside. Mark
