I am still trying to get a "comfortable" setup for my twin 50s and my Aquamaster DA. Since I don't have a banjo fitting for my reg, and can't justify spending $85 to have one made. I looked into my bag of tricks and found a manifold that has a high pressure port, and I also found an adapter that will let me plug in an old pressure gage into the manifold, so now I have a way to tell my tank pressure in my twin 50s, but now I am looking for a way to use the low pressure port (Hookah adapter port?) on my Aquamaster DA to run an inflator hose to my drysuit. Does anyone know the thread sizes on that fitting or know where to get a cheap adapter to do what I want? For that matter, can I get it at Vintage SS?

We had a few of those adapters made up, but they have since sold out, and we don't plan to have any more made. They are easy to make yourself. The hookah port has the same threads as an oxygen line on an oxy-acetylene torch. Just go to your local welding shop, and ask for a nipple and "B" nut for an oxygen regulator - they should have them in stock. Since the hookah is low pressure (about 110 psi), you can then just clamp the barbed end of the nipple to your low pressure BC hose (after you've cut off the first stage regulator fitting). The welding shop will also have low pressure compression type clamps that will hold the hose to the fitting. Hydraulics shops are also good sources for miscellaneous hoses and hose clamps, and they'll put it all together for you (probably), too. Hope that helps!

Here is a nice picture of a manifold that was attached to the hookah fitting on an AquaMaster. He has two hoses running off the manifold. He also has a pressure gauge hooked to the HP outlet on his Dacor J-valve. www.chebucto.ns.ca/Recreation/EastCoastDive/prospect.htmI like the picture of the divers also. Salty Nova Scotia adventurers. Three cheers for Canada!
