Haven't been to site for a while, however note that a member is interested in whether or not there are any Ondiphots still out here. Yes, at least there is one and that would be the one I refered to in my post from 2011. It is exactly, like it could be the same one, as shown in the Museum picture including the Roliflex. It is right here on my shelf. The Roli is in working order. Not so sure I want to pass it on or give it up, but I am open to conversation...... Crowe

I wonder if one of our members, Sid Macken (SIDM) would know how to find this ONDIPHOT housing? He really has a lot of contacts in the vintage scuba realm.
Also, welcome to our forum. Your participation is much appreciated.

I for one gotta say thats the first Ondiphot I've run across, and on the market! I'm compelled to note that I have several times made note on this site that I have one with the Roli! that i might be interested in passing it on and to this date nobody had made even a reference to my posts?! If you google Ondiphot, I'm the first hit, last time I looked anyway. Just find it curious. I have even sent a couple of msgs to the guy who said he was looking for one ... off into cyberspace I guess?? .... Crowe

now don't see it in the thread, but my first post on this site looking for info regarding the Ondiphot was back in July of 2011 ... I did get a couple a replies to that; howvever, to this date I have found very little info regarding it. When you have the chance to see "Creature from the Black Lagoon" @ '54 you can see one in action with a set of double lights attached to it even! ... Crowe

..... haven't seen pic in quite a while myself but now even just seeing the stills you attached, lot of flick was underwater shots and is an interesting reflection on early diving, ie, note no BC, as a kid was introduced to scuba by my father in early 50's diving Virgins and Bahamas, BC, no such thing. The Odniphot I have was my dads, he used it quite a bit in addition to shooting movies. Gotta get back to relocating more of his pics, what was he using for movies? think it was like of Bolex? Wonder what they used for "black Lagoon"? ..... Crowe
