Hopefully next month my wife and I are going to have a little pool party with our LDS-owner: he's really excited about me actually having an extensive collection of DH's and very early SH's...
Again, thanks buddy, I love a challenge. Oh, and that HW Scuba Star, I just got a good primary for it, and the original tilt-valve will be the octo. I'm also going to tap some new ports into it; another LP and I'm going to make a HP for it, emulating the one in my USD Deepstar-I, which is nearly the same first stage...
Yeah, I see that now that I physically have it: I was confused because, well, it's not actually marked HP Also, wouldn'cha know, that allen-screw is the only one I don't have a wrench for, grumble, grumble, grumble... The T-II second stage, has a pretty low number: 00257. Kinda groovy I thought
Thanks buddy! So wait a second, this thing, the MR12, ain't got no HP-port?!?!?!? What the heck is up with that: is this another reg to use with my Healthways-valves?
WHat?!!??! Oh man, what did I say now. I think I was talking about Healthways (HW) and got confused as to what I was saying.... Thanks for clear that up John. And yes, my MR-12 has 2 LP ports and 1 HP port. My MR-12 II has 3 LP ports and one HP port.

I have two different MR-12 second stage bodies from the AMF Swimaster era. One has the external "venturi tube", and one does not. I have enough parts to assemble one (wish i hade enough to do both and use one as an octo, but such is life). Which body would you use, and why? Thanks in advance for any input.
Look at the second photo in the post above by Sitkadiver, and look at the other reg bodies in this thread....
see the venturi tube? SeaRat described it some in this thread. I have one body prior to the "tube" addition, and one after both under the AMF Swimaster label, with all parts, except for the body being the same. I obtained a second body (sans-"tube" edition) as a "throw-in part when I got a cover to replace a severely (though functional) one on a set of regs I was gifted. Even with the 'bay link you showed, I am numerous parts off of enough for a complete stage. Plus, the gifted set has a Healthways Balanced second, apparently functioning (not had interest in addressing it yet as I have this riddle to solve first).

Did you mean first stage? I've never heard of a balanced second stage, which doesn't mean anything BTW! If it is a HW balanced second stage, I JUS' GOTTA SEE IT!!! Mean old John, aka Searat, kinda turned me into a Healthways junkie
