Well guys....and gals......I decided to bite the bullet and start soliciting funding and then if that is successful, finish development and start production of the successor to the MB Mk3........a full blown 21st century double hose.....the Sea Wolf Mk5. You can find more info on my facebook page: Sea Wolf Campaign and Development or igg.me/p/sea-wolf-mk5-double-hose-dhr-diving-regulator/x/8573307

Looks good bruddah: I'm really looking forward to this regulator! It's always nice to have alternatives to what's out there...

Mossback, I wish you the best. I've been keeping an eye on the boards for a mossback for a while; now perhaps, I can get a completely new one!
Am I reading things correctly? You're looking to raise 125K?

You're looking to raise 125K? Sitkadiver, Yeah, I will be producing quite a few after final testing, that cost includes material for at least 100-200 units after testing......have already been contacted by a group in Turkey about this reg........a vintage group.......you may or may not be surprised but there are double hose divers all around this world....not just here in the USA.........I am getting interests from many different countries.....France is the latest. - Okay lets kick this puppy into gear. I just submitted my initial contribution of $100. That's "initial"... I'll contribute more when I see others contributing. But first could I say something about this project? - I sense that there are two "camps" here: The MK5 and the Argonaut and maybe people are feeling you can't support one without offending the other. I say that's alot of BALONEY. Support 'em BOTH and be proud of it! - I am proud to have contributed to and been part of Bryan's Argonaut project. And I am equally proud to be part of Michael's MK5 project. There certainly is room in modern diving for more than one single hose regulator... Why not more than one double hose? If these guys succeed, we may someday see other regulator companies coming out with double hose regs... This could be the best shot-in-the-arm that modern diving has seen in years! - Perhaps having two will stimulate more interest for both... Create some controversy, on line discussion, even rivalry. What's going on with all of these new diving equipment companies developing double hose regulators? What's the big deal with double hoses, anyway... Perhaps some back and forth will get some viral publicity in the social media... - Contributing is "Being part of it"... That's a personal opportunity to me. How about you?

Where I am unable to contribute monetarily, Michael contacted me some months ago, and I told him I would be his creative-hand as it were. As with most things, graphic art can be a real challenge in conveying someone's idea of what they have in mind. I'm really proud of what Michael and I have put together so far, and am looking foreword to any and all changes to come.

You, Terry, John and Jerry are God sends. I could not have completed this without you guys. If this campaign is successful it will be because of you fella's assistance.

Michael and I have been communicating about his new regulator, the Mk 5 SeaWolf, for a few years now. I want everyone to know that if what we've talked about comes to fruition, this will be a remarkable regulator. It will be highly prized by underwater photographers and people who wish to observe marine/aquatic life close-up. As many here know, I have been using the SeawiscopeEY on my mask to observe freshwater underwater life very close-up, and this would not be possible without my use of double hose regulators. For instance, last summer for the first time ever I watched a hydra (a tiny freshwater animal like a sea anemony, but only about 1/4 inch with tentacles) on a leaf about three inches from my facemask for about five minutes. My current mainstay is Michael's Mossback Mk3, which is a fine regulator in and of itself. But this new one promises to incorporate some very leading-edge flow concepts. So I look forward to it coming about. In order to get this photo of a sculpin balanced on the edge of a wrecked car's fender, I needed to use a double hose regulator; bubbles from a single hose regulator would have disturbed the scene, making this shot impossible. I have to tell y'all, those weren't done in CAD!!!!!!!!!!! I did them in Adobe Photoshop, which is why we don't have an oblique-view: even with Michael's sketches, they took hours and hours of communications between us...
