Does anyone know if there was a tank valve made with a high pressure poirt for a Pressure guage ? My father has an old decor j-valve with two ports one i think is the burst disk, but i don;t know what the secong one is for. I am hoping that it is a hp port but with my luck it prob isn;t. Any info on this subject would be great.  |

Yes, you got lucky. the older Dacor valves have a high pressure port that is pressurised, only when the regulator is in place, and the valve turned on. It is great for those vintage regulators, with no port for a pressure guage.
