Hello everyone, I've only just started scuba diving, as in less than a month ago. I am currently in the process of joining a club in Belgium. My fascination with vintage scuba gear stems from my mother's old stuff I found in the attic. She dove mainly during the early 70s untill mid 80's. Just to get more familiar with the technical side of scuba-diving gear I've started rebuilding her old aquilons and Nemrod regulators she still had lying around. The current project I'm working on is rebuilding her old scubapro 108 as octo, r109 as main with a 1968 mk2 as first stage. If I will ever use it, I have no clue, but it does give alot of satisfaction making gear from the early 60s and 70s completely functional again. I hope to learn alot here and will also post pictures every now an then. This is what I am currently working on.

Welcome aboard!!! I too took an early interest in older Scuba gear. I joined this forum whilst going through my Open Water Certification course. So I can relate. Mark

Bonjour mon ami, et bienvenue! Photobucket isn't being nice to us anymore, but I was able to click through to your images and see a few before being swamped with adverts You may want to get a Flickr account to post images... Please, ask any questions you want: the only dumb question is the one you never ask. By the way, your command of English is impressive As I'm sure you'll learn soon enough, I love Healthways gear, but am always happy to share what I know about anything else... Here I am with some 1960's snorkel-gear on: I was just posing as there aren't many snorkeling spots in California... Je suis impatient d'avoir de vos nouvelles plus! Jaybird
