It was pointed out to me that you have to be careful not to go past the sealing area of the gasket but looking at a DA (the idea was off the cuff just before bed last night) I think there is room for something. The USD gasket is about .250 so I would think you could intrude into it .100 or so without an issue. There is very little pressure across it. A brass pin (flat head with a straight protrusion) would be easy to make and could just slip into a hole, no threads needed. The body ring would hold it in place. A couple might be a good idea just for strength.

I've got a Trieste project in the works. It's missing some parts. It's complete except for the second stage body and lever.
Hen's teeth.
So, if I can't find originals, I'll throw in my custom parts. It'd be better to find some OEM parts for collectability, but you gotta do whatcha gotta do.
