I did this one recently, too bad I didn't have any Tinns
HG, what paint did you use? The satin-finish looks perfect: is it an automotive touch-up-paint? I'm hoping it enamel instead: something like Rustoleum, which is much more resilient and less prone to chipping. JB

I just used the Voit manual off of Vintage Double Hose. I restored one recently using that resource. I have also found an excellent color match heat cured paint if you need to refinish. Can you kindly post [or PM me] the paint brand, name, specifications... you have found. I have one to refinish. Thanks. Mark

I just went on the VDH website. The files are still available. If you haven't downloaded them it might be a good idea to do it PDQ As I recall, it isn't super easy to find them on Bryan's host site. For those of you looking for the files on the VDH website, here's how I find and get them. 1) Go the VDH website home page, and scroll all the way to the bottom. The scroll bar on the right is black on dark gray so it's hard to see but it's there. 2) Once at the bottom you'll see manuals & catalogs. This will redirect you to "filesanywhere". click on "I agree" then continue. 3) The screen will show manuals and catalogs. At the bottom there is a place you can download all files. If you don't want all the files click on the "manuals and catalogs. 4) Click on the manufacturer you want, then it will show whats available for that manufacturer. Open the one you want and you should be able to save it. I've only tried this with the files that are PDF format, but it still works.

Just a heads up, if you try the download all it may not work right. The copy I had downloaded did not properly take the nested zip files.

FYI Went to the VDH website and found that the directory structure is there but the downloads are zero bytes. This resource appears to be gone. Same for me. Sad 😢
