Does anyone know what colors of paint were used on Healthways Steel 72 tanks? I have a tank that is stamped Healthways, and has 3 layers of paint: gray, white, and sky blue, with the blue being the bottom layer. Was a blue like that ever used? If anyone has an answer to this I would love to hear it. Thanks.

As far as I remember they were either galvanized, black or yellow: someone probably painted their tank so as to make their property unmistakable JB

That looks like a 1/2" NPT tank neck. Most (all?) 1/2" tanks were plain galvanized steel. Coatings were common on 3/4" neck tanks.

Also still has a Healthways post style valve installed. At some point I will strip all the paint and see how much of the original galvanized coating is left.
