Bob died yesterday peacefully at his home after a long battle! Bob Was a very active member in the HDS and would run the booths at Dema and many other shows. He also volunteered at many working equipment group dives like the Northeast dive equipment group Willow spring Memorial day 2002. Rip Bob!

I had some dealings (all good experiences!) with Bob. I believe he had a bunch of Dacor parts? Or some stash that I reaped the benefit of. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear he passed. So many of the OGs are gone!

Thanks He was a true friend and helped me with many dive equipment searches. I know where the Dacor parts and double hose are if you need them!

I am very sorry to hear about Bob. Bob was a great guy. We had some fun times in some of the vintage equipment gatherings. He was always great about sharing his heavy gear collection and some of his cool vintage Scuba gear. Here is a picture of him in the white T shirt. I am the handsome fellow in the heavy gear. This Navy MK-V belonged to him. This was in 2008.
I often use this picture as my avatar in other sites. Again, this was also Bob’s gear, but I think it was a different dress. This was a different year. I miss our vintage equipment gathering with him.
We keep on losing too many friends…

Actually, now I remember that it was Broxton parts. He had a bunch of NOS bits. Like most of my vintage equipment related connections, I never met him in person, but he was helpful and knew a lot!
