Dan went to the Historical Diving Society conference in Seattle this past weekend, and he took a portion of his collection of Eastern European regs to display there. Here's a couple pics... Ryan was there, too. I guess there were some great presentations and demonstrations - maybe Dan or Ryan will jump in and tell you more about that, but I wanted to get these pics on here at least.

Wow! Very, very nice! It's hard to believe that it's only a portion of Dan's collection. Linda, you need to convince Dan to take even more photographs of his regulators and display them on VSS in the ON LINE MUSEUM.

I made it to the HDS Conference this year and it was great to see Dan & Ryan again. Dan always has a great display. Ryan gave me some pics from the 2004 conference. Thanks again Ryan, there great. While the presentations were good, I enjoyed the socializing the most. Theres always a lot of great history getting together at these events. The first night reception at Global Diving & Salvage was way cool. Their office is a museum! And the free beer was good too. Also Sundays tour through Divers Institute was another great time. I got to helmet dive from the same platform they trained Cuba Gooding at for Men of Honor. These conferences are great fun, next year is at Tarpon Springs, FL. Try to make it, you won't regret it.

Dang It! I missed it and it was in my own backyard too!
I guess I should be paying more attention... :-(
