you all thought I was going to say 'dog' huh I told you all 'bout it in VDH forum a while ago; but never showed it off. Well, I still have along way to go to get it ready for trips to Catalina Is. When it was running, before the previous owner tore it apart, it'd do 30 knots on calm seas (Catalina - one hr. from San Pedro). Had a 70 gal. gas tank which gave it about 300 mile range. Just thought I'd share this with everyone. Robert

Nice diving float, Robert. How do we get it to the river?

too big for the river. ok for Lake Oroville and the Afterbay. No motorized craft allowed in the Forebay. It needs a lot of work to get it ready to go. ok ... float; very funny ...

That looks like it ought to do, nice boat there. The 14 foot Novurania, I need a new engine for it. Purchased new in 1984 after trading an Achilles for it in part. From the helm of the Whaler Nemrod I may have shown this before but it is my favorite sonar capture We wish we could take it to Catalina, well, this summer we are going ot the Gulf for several weeks. Here is an oldie but goodie, 22' 1977 Chris Craft with a 350 Chevy. I finished a complete restoration at the beginning of this year. I made it's first vintage dive trip to the Louisiana oil rigs in July. OK, I followed instructions, why didn't the picture post.

Hi Tom You need to put the link between the two commands inside the brackets. Hope this helps.

I changed them so the software doesn't get confused) Having done this, I won't be able to tell if it works since photobucket is blocked by my work [/img]<a href=" photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src=" i49.photobucket.com/albums/f267/buttanic/CopyofCopyofDSC01272.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a> Here is an oldie but goodie, 22' 1977 Chris Craft with a 350 Chevy. "trading an Achilles "
Well, the reason I traded my Achilles, it was the one bitten by the bull shark. It did not puncture the tough hypolon rubber but it scratched it all up and required a repair. The boat was traded for this larger one. These boats, unlike pool toys, are very rugged. It is almost like biting an automobile tire, really tough and not very chewy or satisfying--lol.

Nemrod, What are we looking at in the sonar picture? Is the image doubled and turned 90/270 degrees. Kinda looks like the side of a boat/ship. Is that what is referred to as "side-scan"?
Nice boats, all! All I have is a 1956, 14 foot plywood runabout made for the Boy Scouts way back then, along with it's 1956 30HP Evinrude outboard. There is too much wood rot for me to use it safely anymore. It is one of many projects on hold until my younger son is school age and we have two incomes once again.
