Hi, guys- If you have any technical difficulties or questions about using this board, just let me know... There are a lot of nice features and it can get confusing as to how it all works! 
For those of you who decide to 'register', you can set up a profile with a user name, etc. I have just added a bunch of custom avatars (an avatar is the little pic that appears in your profile when you post, like my penguin on the left). All of the ones I just added are scuba related, unlike the cartoon-y ones that come standard with the board... They appear at the bottom of the list of avatars in the "edit your profile" page. Go take a look!
Another handy thing -- you can post pics in your messages (especially nice if it is something you want to sell). Please keep the images smallish (file-size-wise) so that the page still loads quickly.... Your image HAS to be hosted somewhere, if you have web space or whatever. The way to have it appear in your message is to type:
[ i m g ] www.yourhostname.com/picturename.jpg [ / i m g]
Don't use any spaces in the brackets like I did.... If I typed it normally, the text would disappear, as the board here would try to obey, thinking I was adding an image. So hopefully you get my meaning - if not, email me - I can type it correctly in an email.
