O.K... time for everyone to fess up. Who here has ever answered the front door while wearing some form of dive gear? In my case it was a new wetsuit I was trying on... that may be why Fed-Ex won't deliver here anymore....

Robb: That was a good question that you brought up in this post, and I was glad to see that you got the feedback that you did. There are some great people who visit this site and also share our love for vintage diving. In regards to the question you asked; changing a short yoke for a long yoke isn't really any big deal; provided you know the right techniques to do so. Just like yourself there are many out there who have never done any work or very little on their two hose pride and joy, and it would be good to know at some point how to maintain it yourself; which brings me to my point. At Wazee several years ago Dan conducted a "Regulator Clinic" for the maintenance and repairs of these vintage regs which I and I'm sure many others unfortunately missed. It would be nice to see a clinic of this type put on once again; maybe even a yearly event for newcomers to vintage diving or anyone who is interested. It would be a great place for all of us to pick up some pointers and share ideas with each other. Terry Stevens

(Im watching Sea Hunt as I type this)
If there is a clinic and I can afford to be there I would be happy to video tape it and put it on DVD for history's sake. That sort of thing should be recorded.
