We are starting another contest to try and determine when the Royal AquaMaster serial numbers started and this may also tell us approximately how many Royal Masters were made. So we are looking for the lowest serial number for a Royal Aquamaster (not Royal Master). And secondly, we want to try and find the lowest DW Mistral serial number. There will be two winners, and they will each receive one set of new repro hoses in their choice of black or yellow (if and when I ever get them!). The winners will be determined by the number of his/her regulator - and the lowest Royal Aquamaster serial number will win along with the lowest US Divers Mistral serial number. Contest rules are as follows: You must own either a Royal AquaMaster or DW Mistral regulator to enter. You may enter more than once if you have more than one regulator. Post your serial number(s) in this thread. Contest will run until noon PST, April 1, 2007. The winners will then be asked to send a clear photo of their winning ID plate. We will post the photos in the thread, along with the winners' names. This is just for fun - we just want to have a good time here, all among friends. We reserve the right to scrap the whole deal if there are any problems. Hopefully this "contest" will help us learn more about the sequence of US Divers serial numbers. Good luck!! Dan and Linda

Since you're looking to possibly see when Royal Aqua Master (RAM) serial numbers started, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're only looking for "square" label RAM serial numbers for this contest. Correct?

Just to confirm... The winning numbers will be the lowest Royal AquaMasterand lowest DW Mistral. Please enter your numbers even if you are not likely to be the lowest!

The later round labeled Royals had serial numbers from around 109,000 up to 700,000 plus and so these must have been sequential with the last rectangled labeled Royals. But yes, we're looking for the early rectangle ones. I suspect the Royal Masters went to around 3000-4000 before the Royal AquaMasters started.

That Mistral is likely one I rebuilt for Dave several years ago. I think he got two of them from me. My ROYAL AQUAMASTER number is R4717.

Hi Dan, Just an FYI. Your numbering for the round labels is incorrect: The later round labeled Royals had serial numbers from around 109,000 up to 700,000 plus and so these must have been sequential with the last rectangled labeled Royals.
I have a Royal Aqua-Master numbered 106,001.

My earliest RAM is 9485. My other RAM is 16325. I guess we arn't counting Mistrals without the serial number. If we are, I have 1.
