You all know that the single hose regulator arrived first in Australia. Well, there's more. Christmas arrives here first too, and it's summertime. It has been cold though, with the temperatures plunging into the 70s. Santa wears Bermuda shorts in Australia. That's how he endures the open sleigh (little know fact). The bad side is that Australia is the fly capital of the world. People never seem to swat them, but just brush them away. I think the flies are protected here. (State Bird or something.) Anyway, I hope those of you in the frozen north enjoy your Christmas dinner. Happy Holidays from about as far away as I can be! Steve

HO! HO! HO! There are two things wrong with that picture. The water is too clear, and the water is too clear!!

Happy New Year everyone. I'm especially envious of Tim and Leah, in that nice, clear, WARM water in Hawaii. I'm getting over a sinous infection, that started out as a toothache, so I'm relieved that this is what it was. I should be back to diving in about a month. Until then, I'm working on other things, cleaning the garage, putting away diving gear, reconditioning a set of Dacor fins, etc. Enjoy everyone, John
