I was trawling through the internet and came across an interesting site dedicated to Medi twin hose regulators. One of the photographs shows a tapping in the casing feeding an octopus and a low pressure inflator. Unfortunatly I don't speak a word of German, can anybody give me the jist of it? www.seveke.de/tauchen/technik/meine%20regler/medi/0medi.htmThis is an interesting idea, has anybody tried this on other regs?

I had three years of German in high school, but that was so long ago I cannot use it anymore. But the concepts look good. It seems that there are several approaches, and one was to provide a fitting on a DIN valve to give two attachments for regulators, one of which was used for the MIDI, and the other for a single hose's first stage for LP ports.
The actual modifications to the regulator look okay; I have heard of others making tapped and threaded outlets for both HP and LP ports on a Snark III regulator. It actually looks to be easier than the MIDI.
I don't have the need, as I have two regulators with these attachments (AMF Voit Trieste II and Sportsways Hydro Twin). I also have a Sherwood valve with two posts (one central and one on the tank) that I use with twin hose regulators.
