Hello, my name is Steve and I live in Sydney. I was referred to your forum by William Sewell at Customworks, and he was right - it looks like a great resource for divers and diving gear restorers. I have several twin hose regulators in various states of repair, and I am looking to buy a few different pieces to complete them. Specifically, I'm after two sets of yellow hoses for a Healthways regulator (c 1950s vintage).
I'm also a cinematographer, and am developing a new custom underwater housing for my camera which should be completed soon.
This is also the first forum I've ever joined, so I'm looking forward to being a member, and hope I don't make too many mistakes.
Cheers for now, Steve.

Welcome, Steve, from Up Over! Join in on the fun, and don't worry about mistakes. I only belong to two forums, and this one is home base. Just remember, it's all about the fun of vintage diving and vintage diving gear. I'm sure you'll really enjoy being part of the family. Terry

Williams Films......There are several collector/divers in Sydney that you should get to know. One does repairs on regulators. Most are Historical Divers Society members. Email me at deputy821@bigpond.com and I'll send you some contacts in your area. Steve

Hi Steve, I used to teach for a school out of Sydney, Australia when I was stationed in Alameda, CA. It was Technical Training International. That was in the '80s and I'm uncertain if it still exsist. What was interesting is the meter movements went right to left instead of left to right. Took me time to get used to that. Look in the phone book and see if it still exsist for me. Well, welcome to VSS forum! I've never done movies; only do still photography. You got to check out this web-site: www.subaquaticcamera.com/ You'll be glad you did. Add it to your favorites list. If you need parts or have any questions about the housing your making contact Christina (chris@subaquaticcamera.com) and ask her. Double Hoses work best for underwater photography. even better than posidons, cause all the bubbles go out the back. Once you use one you'll notice what I talking about. If you've never used one get intouch with Yankee Down Under. They are a little different than single hose regs and you'll need to know how to clear them and buddy breath with them. Contact Dan or Micheal (aka mossback), on this site, if you need yellow hoses. Robert
