Just happened upon this forum. I'm originally from New Orleans but have spent most of my life in Baton Rouge. I am an RN. I learned to dive in 1975....I guess I'm vintage! I haven't dove in 11 years, but I am getting back into it. Right now I have an old 72 steel that is being hydro'd at this time, A US Divers Calypso reg, BC (sorry) , Wraparound mask and rocket fins. I want to get a double hose reg and also have a set of steel twins that date back to 1943 with USN on them, but are bushed to 1/2". Captain, if your old boat was the Tiger Shark from Grand Isle, I dove with you back in late 80's. Tim

Divertim, I am right down I-10 in Laplace, welcome to the site and vintage diving. Yes, I was the owner of the Tiger Shark. If I can help let me know.

Thanks, Jes and Captain! I liked diving the Tiger Shark. I wonder how she faired with Hurricane Gilbert? Anyway, I will have a lot of questions as I acquire equipment and look forward to being part of this forum. Tim
