Hi Linda, Happy new year to you and Dan. I have 5 photos of regs I would like to share with the board but for the life of me can't seem to figure it out. I've transfered the the shots from my cell to my desktop but now what? Thanks Michel.

Michel, As the other Moderator on VSS maybe I can be of assistance. Linda has a thread that deals with this very subject. You can find it right here in Tech Support at Adding images to your postsIf after reading it, you find that you still need help please do not hesitate to ask either of us for further assistance. Remember, the key is to upload to to a server with Photobucket probably being the most popular.

Thanks, Joe. Things have changed since then and the forum now has attachment capabilities! I have never used it myself, ha, but I think it's pretty easy to do... When you post a message, Michel, now there is a field just below the Subject line, called "Attachment".... Click on the Browse button and locate the photo(s) on your desktop that you want to attach. They should show up when you post. Let me know if it works. Thanks again, Joe for jumping in.

Thanks Linda and Joe, I'll give it a try in the "Broxton" rebuild thread today, hope it works as I would like to add more photos of my small collection and projects.
Michel.

Hi again Linda, Just like to thank you again, the 'browse' feature works very easily even from a cell phone (mine a Samsung Forever touch screen). However, it does not look like too many people are interested! Is the board experiencing a general lack of posting or am I just imagining it that way? Anyway,
Cheers, Michel .

Hi Michel,
If I may, this is generally a slow time of year for scuba discussions due to holiday season business and the cold weather preventing most from diving. The forum often seems to swing from really busy to really quiet for periods, and this is the time of year when the thoughts of many of us stray from diving.......until next Spring! Then watch everyone come out of hibernation all of a sudden. ;D
Regards, Terry

Terry,
Andrew is already bugging me about going to the river. Still have mud (muk?) from Folsom lake to clean out of dive gear before going. That was deffinately a limited vis dive! Andrew is going to be disassembling his own gear and cleaning it this year, and learning how to do everything himself (except his first stage which is oil filled). He doesn't know this yet. It's been "dad will do it for me". I have a couple of up-stream regs I might let him take apart and re-assemble. It will be a good learning experience for him. He wants to get into commercial diving and underwater welding. Time to start teaching him stuff he will need to know. I've ordered a Navy Dive Manual for him to study, also. He is going to be busy this dive season! Hybernation is almost over for us!

Linda,
I'll have to try that next time I load photos. I keep loading to photobucket and then posting them here. Thanks for info.
