Greetings from Maine My wife and I are both divers. I am into vintage diving because I am a vintage diver myself , I was certified in 1970. In the mid 70's I gave my future wife diving lessons, and we are still married. Seriously, we are into most things historical, we are period reenactors, and professional historians, so our interest in historical diving is a natural. I learned on a double hose and hope to get one soon. I am slowly putting together an early UDT outfit, stuff is hard to find. We lost most of our gear in a fire, so we are just now getting back into diving. We are hear to learn as much as we can. Anyone else out there in Maine? Bill

Somehow I missed this one - sorry for the late reply. Welcome aboard! I think Luis is in Maine. You'll see him around here eventually.

Howdy Bill! My wife and I aren't period-reinactors, but we play them on TV: well, um okay, we collect a lot of old stuff, 1950'-60's, so our house is kind of a living history museum. We don't just collect it, but live it. Our house was built in 1960, and 90% of what we have is old. As far as I'm concerned, this is THE old scuba site, there are others, but you get s**ty-attitude heaped on with a back-hoe when you ask questions on that other site; no thanks! Being a weirdo, I like different stuff, so I have Healthways gear; I can thank "Sea Rat" John for that, who BTW is a super great guy, and knows more about scuba than seems humanly possible! Welcome Hoss! Jaybird
