I remember that as I kid I had some diving magazines, I had a few issues of "Skin Diver", but there was another that I had and cannot remember the title. I looked at them so much that I wore off the covers. It was about the same size as a "Popular Mechanics" Any ideas?

Fawcett publications put out several diving magazines in the Popular Mechanics format. The were not published monthly though. Authors such as Bill Barrada would often write the articles. I can think of several that were published during those years. Sometimes they can be found on eBay or in used paperback stores. Water World was another good magazine though short lived. It was a little more sensationalized than Skin Diver, and catered gto boaters and surfers as well as divers.
