Aloha,
I'm currently residing in Oahu where I was born and raised. I recently left the Marine Corps after 8 years and I am now a full time student at the University of Hawaii. I am also associated with the Marine Corps Reserves, Marine Corps Base, Kaneohe Bay.
As child I learned to free dive and I spent many days in the ocean spear fishing. My first SCUBA diving experience was at the Marine Corps Combat Diver School at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center, Key West, Florida.
I actually found this site by accident. I think it's interesting that this site is dedicated to old school dive equipment. I'm thinking about purchasing the UDT swim fins featured on the site. The fins are nothing to scream about but they're rare and difficult to come by. You can't just buy them at a sporting goods store or dive shop. The only time I've seen and used those fins were at the combat dive course, and they were from the 1970s and 1980s. Those fins will give you a real clave workout that's for sure.

JES,
Thanks. I'll post whenever I have the time. By the way, I need to make some corrections. In my post I said that the Naval Diving and Salvage Center is in Key West. What I wanted to write was Panama City, FL. That's what happens when you type while drunk.
