Hey,
This ain't about diving, but y'all have been talking from time to time concerning old tv shows..........
Well, I just watched a commerical concerning La Quita Inns, and this used a clip from the old TV show, Rocky Jones and the Space Rangers!
Anyone remember that?.........has anyone seen any of these online etc?

Somewhere is a DVD form the "99 cent only stores" with Space Rangers, I bought so my kids could see what TV was like when I was a kid. I also picked one up with Clutch Fargo and Friends with him diving a cartoon double hose. It had been upgraded to color. (It may have been color; all we had when I was young was B/W). I don't know what my kids did with the DVD's. I also picked up 20,000 leagues under the Sea DVD, there. Ok, that's sort of about diving ...

Oh yeah! I love old sci-fi tv from the 1950's: there's one Rocky Jones movie called Crash of the Moons that has John Banner, AKA Sergent Schultz, WOW, stinky in a wonderful way. I think they just pieced part of the show together to make it: www.imdb.com/title/tt0045655/www.imdb.com/title/tt0046639/Then there's the old Flash Gordon TV show from the 1950's, made in Germany. There's lots of bombed out buildings and most of the costumes look like they're from Metropolis or The Cabinet of Dr. Caligary: this is one of the strangest most surreal things I've ever seen. Everyone has a German accent except for Flash and Dale! We have the complete Clutch Cargo series on DVD; it's strange too, but it grows on ya! BTW it was in color. The art is pretty nice, but most people can't get over the weird mouth thing and VERY limited animation. I loved the one Bob mentioned with the DH gear. Jaybird
