My name is Joe.I live in Arkansas.Half way between Goobertown and Hooker. No brag just fact.I'm 63,I learned to dive on double hose regs. When I grow up I want to teach diving. Sue and I have 6 boys. All dive 2 are instructors. Most of my diving is in lakes. I lost almost all of my gear in a house fire.I found Vintage Scuba while looking for replacement cost on the old stuff.

Welcome aboard Joe! AKA "diveaddict"We're glad that you've decided to join our ranks on Vintage Scuba Supply. That's quite an impressive diving family that you and your wife Sue have raised. Take care, safe safe, and post often.

Howdy! Welcome; as far as I'm concerned, this is the only place for vintage diving info. Lot's of really good people and very friendly; there's a great lack of attitude, which I find very refreshing, and the admins won't get PO'ed at you for straying off topic. I think the key here is to have fun and learn. Jaybird

Diveaddict,
You're in the right place. I'm almost 65, still working, but enjoying vintage diving. 'Sorry to hear about the house fire, but from bad things, good can happen--you found us. I have two boys, and neither of them dive now. But both were exposed to it early. We have a good time here, and we even have a few people working to revive the double hose (Mossback) by building new, better ones. Welcome!
John

Welcome! Wonder if this store sells any used dive equipment? Might be worth checking out. Terry (duckbill) has a tank I found at a yard sale that was manufactured before 1955 and never hydro'ed after that. I picked it up at a yard sale for $5.00 It was in almost new condition. You never know what you might find. www.manta.com/c/mm77pv2/goobertown-antiques-cllctbls
