Anyone up for chat? Our own chat room(s)? Our new server supports it, so I thought, what the heck, and I've been playing with some chat software. I installed what I thought was one of the best free ones out there... Try it out.... if you find any bugs or have any complaints, just post your feedback here. I haven't linked to it from our site yet - don't know that it will get used much, or if anyone will like it? So for now, I'll just put the link here. Any feedback is welcome... www.vintagescubasupply.com/chat/index.php

On some other boards I participate in they have a set day and time that everyone tries to get together in the chat room. I know it is impossible to meet everyones schedule requirements but we might give it a shot? Any suggestions ?
I think it's a great feature Linda.

That's what I was thinking, too, Bryan... Something like "scheduled chats". It might be handy when you guys are planning a dive get together to sort out the details or something like that... or just for "coffee chat" (or in my case, "beer chat" ) But anyway, you could just name the topic and the date/time and announce it here.

Do we create a new account for the chat? Or does it use the same account as the message board?

It's a totally separate bit of software, so you would have to register for chat separately. Sorry about that - would be nice if it was integrated, eh? Maybe someday....
