As a result of my looking through my old NAUI Blue Book, I found that there were a number of films that the U.S. Navy produced and instructors could get for free. One of those is the Sealab I film on a different thread. This one is the Medical Effects of Diving[/B], which includes footage of Navy divers from the 1950s. You will see DA Aqualung regulators, old-style dry suits, double tank systems with different harness configurations, U.S. Divers oval Champion Deluxe masks, and of course Duck Foot fins. I saw the first of these segments, and remember it from the U.S. Naval School for Underwater Swimmers, where I viewed it in 1967. It is now on You Tube, so follow the below links and enjoy (and, actually learn something from some very good demonstrations). www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpM2wrQS7pEwww.youtube.com/watch?v=uGKsaF_LLhk&NR=1www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3HYhvF2i70&feature=relatedEnjoy, John

I'm glad I discovered these, and hope that others will enjoy them. These films not only show vintage equipment (such as a USD regulator with a Hope-Page mouthpiece), but also have good training even by today's standards. Now, if I could get people to see the Sealab I film... John
