Turned out great, Jerry! And you can't go wrong with The Beach Boys, ever! I'm glad you had those surface shots of you and your triples to add. We really need to get some workable diving shots of them. I'm bummed it didn't work out this time. Maybe they are holding out for an oceanic setting to make their underwater debut instead. Thanks for putting the video together.

Very nice! Would like to do that one sometime... really like the crawdad too! What's the depth there? That is a USD Wraparound, right? My favorite mask Jaybird

I been living in Oroville and never knew about the salmon run. The depth is 35' great. Got to try it soon.

Terry,
When it gets around 54 degrees or below, you know I switch to my full length 3/16" wetsuit. Above that I wear my shorty and wetsuit that goes "boing, boing, boing". I showed you that last time we were at the river. Remember, I mentioned you really thick wetsuit probably wouldn't do that!
I dove the Feather River two years ago in swimming trunks and t-shirt.
Oh well, guess I'm part fish ...

ok, I used to think about a "West Coast Wazzee" (did I spell that right?) ... the Feather River in September would be great! I like this and they have a Motel ... www.winrivercasino.com/ They have penny machines I can play for a whole three hours on a dollar with all the free soda I want to drink. What's everyone else's thoughts on this? Robert

A "west coast Wazee" would be great next year. It is also the 10th anniversary of our forum. It's up to you guys to choose/vote on the location -- I'm not a diver, so don't know the good spots! I've been to WinRiver Casino! I love casinos. I usually stop at Rolling Hills, though (in Corning), on my way up and down I-5. It's HUGE!

The one in Corning is the one I was thinking about .... my mistake there! I don't gamble, I don't have very good luck. I just play the penny machines and drink the free soda. Got to be careful with kids there ... the arcade for kids; kids can go through more money than adults. I spent $1 in three hours on the penny machines; my kids? A roll of quarters in 15 minutes on pinball machines! ... and my kids thought I was gambling!
The food there is great, also! Senior discounts on Tuesday and Thursday ... (Oops! I'm young ...) You can pig out for less than a burger at most fast food joints!
I took Joshua there for his 21st b-day. He won $100 with the card they gave him to play the machines. I told him "now is the time to cash out". He still wanted to play; but, took my advise. I went and played the same machine after he did and lost $5 bucks. Was it good advise I gave him ... or just my bad luck? At least he walked away a winner!
