I gotta say I really dig on Clutch Cargo; yeah I know most people don't like it because of the Syncrovox, or as most people say, "That weird mouth thing..." Yeah well, get over it! Why do I like it? The level of detail to all the gear he and Spinner, his young ward, use is amazing--check it out! This is CLEARLY US Divers gear... Yellow hoses... but wait--look at the yoke screw! Also notice the way his strap is done... pull and release! Hey... isn't that a DW Mistral... a-yep, it sure is! Oh, sorry, I forgot to up-load this one too: Jaybird

Was looking at a USD-catalog from 1959: those fins he's wearing are "Sqaule" fins, as denoted by the open toe and straps: Image from skindivinghistory.com The gauge on his wrist looks like a "Bothometer" depth gauge from the same catalog, sorry, couldn't find an image of that! Yeah, I'll be the first to admit... I'm a NERD, an' proud of it too! Jaybird

Cool! I had never heard of Clutch Cargo. I like the artwork, though.

The "creepiness" George is talking about is the use of "Syncrovox": human mouths were filmed over a portion of the animation-cell giving the cartoon a most disturbing quality! If, on the other-hand, you can get past that, and the EXTREMELY limited animation, it has some pretty cool stuff to offer. Like his 1929 Bellanca Airbus: Here's the real aircraft: I'd bet that old Johnny Quest owes EVERYTHING to Clutch, even though Hanna Barbera and crew would never admit it. The art on the show is first rate in detailing: I've only seen modern-Japanese animation with this accurate of artwork! The show is more like a comic strip with voice-overs, or an old radio show that has pictures... Jaybird
