You have got to see this paper. It is a history of Antarctic diving, with photos of all the old equipment used (US, British and Russian). These are mainly underwater photos of the gear being used. Notice on page 17, those poor guys (Feltz, Lavallee, and Ray) in wetsuits are wearing Viking fins (well two out of three!) Actually there are some great photos there. Wish I could get high resolution copies. BD
