You seem to be the Nemrod man. Is there no reference to the pillar valve on page 2. 'Help Nemrod Date'..You have more catalogues than us going back to 1959. Do you know when Nemrod first started?? Everyone has been great with info on the other bits I've posted. Would be good if we could find out more about this one.

>Do you know when Nemrod first started?? < According to the following forum messages, the Nemrod Metzeler company was founded in 1935 as a medical supplier, but started manufacturing diving equipment in Gerona, north of Barcelona, in 1945. Thanks for the information. My original research involved dating the Snark III on the basis of the case. There were at least three major case changes that I can find. I doubt if the mechanics changed much, other than an addition of a port. Turtleguy, I think, had some technical training on the Snark III, so he may be able to verify the thoughts on the mechanics. I was using some 1960 through 1980s catalogs to research the changes, however my collection is not complete. I also let this research laspse, but now I am revitalized. Thanks. auction1.inetu.net/member/simonbeans/snarkIII.jpg [/img]
