Made in 1959 with Gary Cooper and Charlton Heston, wow never heard of it before, double hose action not until the last 15 - 20 minutes but a good flick.

Yep, me too. With those two in the movie I knew it had to be pretty good, the vintage equipment was cool, just thought it would have a nautical theme didn't know it had diving in it.

Coop and his family were active scuba divers in the early days of the sport. I think he was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Excellent, thanks for the heads-up: I just added it to my queue on Netflix! As a side note: whenever I watch a GC movie, I can't help but think they were trying to find another one of this guy: "Two-gun-Bill", AKA, William S. Hart, which is a really good thing! Jaybird

Phil and Mark, as genuine swabbos, you guys gotta see this film! We were really diggin' on the wardrobe in this movie, I was especially envious of Chuck Heston's oilskin windbreaker, lots of swell sweaters and coats too. Hmmm, I may need to may an oilskin like that...
They were diving DW Mistrals. I couldn't help but notice the gray paint coming off the wet suits. Good movie, good drama, but I wouldn't say it was an action film, more of a suspense-thriller, which we felt worked really well. Everything's quite understated except for the totally effed up situations they keep getting into.
