Mark, if you look really close, you can see the equalizing ports, they're round, and those nice long exhausts, like so: I believe that the Scuba Star was kept in its secondary config. after they started upgrading everything; that being no longer a tilt-valve, but a down stream valve. If I remember correctly, 1966 was when they changed the some of the designs, as can be seen here: They tried to go for more of a ScubaPro look, and that type of HW can even use a SP diaphragm! Mark, I stand corrected: I can't for the life of me figure out why the Scuba Star still had an over pressure valve though: gosh maybe they just wanted to get rid of them that way... Jaybird
