I tried to translate it from Catalan, a variant of Spanish, I think...
So, um, is Paco related to Albert?

Cool video...............I would really like to see a video done on the wrecks in All Saints Bay in Brazil. The bay is chock full of ship wrecks, two I dove on several years ago...was to dive a third the next day but due to eating a bad supper I became sick and could not dive the rest of the time I was there (3 days).... There are approximately 90 ship wrecks that are off limits to dive on, other than passing over them to photograph. These are tombs of sailors, both Portuguese and Dutch who got into a slug fest one early morning in 1624. The Dutch wanted the city of Salvador de Bahia which was occupied by the Portuguese. A large fleet of Dutch war ships sailed into the Bay during the early morning hours but did not know that the winds typically stop blowing for a time around 3am......not able to maneuver without the wind, they were targets for the Portuguese ships and shore batteries at Salvador. However, the larger Dutch ships took their share of kills of the smaller Portuguese vessels, but lost in the end. Still, a lot of sailors lives were lost on both sides along with Dutch soldiers. Salvador it self is an interesting place, much different than Rio.......all of Brazil claims the denzens of Salvador de Bahia are too lazy to work and would rather party. Which is partly true......I and my future wife enjoyed 2 beach/street parties right outside my hotel room. One did not have to smoke the weed, just breath in the air! Anyway, I'd like to see a video of some intrepid divers on the shipwrecks. Here are a few of my dive on some steam ships that ran aground during storms in the early 1900's.

Michael, if it's wreck diving you want, it's my understanding that the Great Lakes can't be beat. Really hoping one of these days to we get to see Diver Don and see what the UP (Michigan's Upper Peninsula) has in store for us. Fresh water, no sharks, safe foods to eat, US laws and language (mostly der don'cha know der heh?) Diving where US laws apply is huge, so ya don't get, "Huh, so we lost a few gringos, there's millions more of em..." Oh, and no passports required! JB

JB Jay, I hear ya, but it isn't the same kind of adventure.......our dive master was Brazilian who only spoke Portuguese, one German who spoke Portuguese and Spanish and a Englishman who spoke Spanish and of course their brand of English.......multiple translations just so I knew the dive masters rules......Great fun however.......muy bon! And they were all fascinated by my doublehose. I was using the MB hookahport adapter at that time......the MK3 came a couple of years later.

JB Hey JB, and most everyone else on these boards, you're welcome to come join us, hey? And the Great Lakes? Well they be warm[er] in August and September too. And yes. We have awesome shipwrecks! Just give me a heads up so I can be sure to have full tanks in the basement. The nearest shop is 90 miles away from my hometown of Marquette now that the local shop closed. DD
