JMJ Wetsuits still make a smooth rubber wetsuit but only in black. They are on the web.

I thought I was told that the guy from Scuba 2000 in Canada may have access to who made some silver wetsuits recently. Look him up on YouTube.

Mark, in about 2001 I had countless people who honestly thought I was Moby: guys introducing their girlfriends to me and packs of teenage girls following me throughout the store giggling... It was fun for about 15-minutes, then it totally sucked: JB

Alec Pierce from Scuba 2000 knows of a company in Canada that will make custom smooth skin silver wet suit. Several divers got new silver wetsuits for our Sea Hunt re-enactment event last March in Silver Springs. Just call Alec to get the information. Scuba 2000 t. 905-771-1500 toll-free. 1-800-324-3483 f. 905-771-1500 9033 Leslie Street - Unit 12 Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 4K3 I got this from the Sea Hunt flyer: SMOOTH SKIN WET SUITS Oceaner, www.oceaner.com/ 1-800-663-66601 Ask for Roy or Gary and tell them Alec Pierce gave you the number. They are in BC.

That guy doesn't live too far from me. I'm in the big city of Toronto (not really). TD Why don't I pay him a visit one of these days?

If I lived closer and had my passport up to date I'd go and visit. Love his videos on Youtube and Facebook, just wish he'd not include saying something like to the effect "of course, the gear we have today is so much better.." LOL!!
Off topic, but I'll put it in here anyway...
Technidiver...are you planning to come to the Vintage Scuba Event at White Star Quarry, in Gibsonburg, Ohio, US., in mid-Sept.? I think the Toronto area is a good eight hour-ish drive away, been awhile since I been there, but might be worth thinking of? Mark

Mark I'll see if I can go this year, but if I do go, I'll have to bring my Goldie. Will tanks be supplied? Or BYOT (Bring your own tank)

I might be able to come this time, but I still need some stuff to get the Goldie running. I don't want to be the only skinny hose diver there LOL.

I will be diving single hose, I only have one working double hose and the rest is vintage single hose regs. My main reg. is a USD Conshelf XI, then I have a USD Calypso-J, and my two Healthways single hoses. I can afford the single hose regs. a lot better than I can a double hose reg. Plus I just like them, so at I will be diving single hose there. Mark

Welcome subcusick After some asking around a diver friend Robert Beale has solved the answer it was the "Typhoon" UK company that supplied the suits in the 70/80's for the "Dr. Who" series.
