Hi Chucko
Thanks for the information, but those companies only sell hydrolic line fittings. Look at any scuba hose, its the fittings on the ends of scuba hoses I'm looking for.

Ron
Try Global Machine Corp. They manuf. scuba fittings of all types. I haven't looked at them for hose fittings but they might have these things. Also, the new type I have seen lately on hoses, IE: from Divers-Com. etc. have a screw-in-compression fitting vs the old crimp fitting. The screw-in-compression fitting can be un-screwed and reused if the hose needs to be shortened for a number of reasons.
Diver-com can provide any hose with fittings in 3/8 1/2 and 7/16..etc.......

does anyone know anything about the old US Divers tank valves.....the old 'post' type with the knob on the top? I just picked up a brand new NOS one off of ebay and I'm confused about a port plug (i think) on the side of it. This valve seems to be a late version with NO reserve feature and has the later 3/4 in. straight threads with o-ring. It has a burst disc plug on the back but there is another port plug on the side that is about the size of a HP port plug.....except there is no o-ring (therfore i havent opened it up yet to explore). Also there is no room for a HP hose to connect because the hex features on the hose would interfere and not allow the hose fitting to screw all the way down. My question is...is this a HP port? ...and is there an extension available (or original hose) that would allow me to hook up an HP hose ? Buzz
