I'm having a little trouble finding tanks to fit my Nemrod tripplie manifold, the manifold is 1/2" but doesn't seem to thread down enough into certain types of 1/2" USD tanks. Did Nemrod use a specific tank.
Thanks

Nemrod was made in Spain and they may have been metric.
Medical O2 cylinders can be used with the White Stag manifolds, according to one Ebay seller, they might work for the Nemrod too.
A gas supply house like AirGas should be able to measure your valve threads and tell you what you have. There may be a welding tank that would fit, but they are not galvanized, nor are the medical tanks. Spray galvanizing can be bought in the paint section of the big home supply stores.
A good machinist can make adapters to fit modern tanks and you could use Faber or Luxfer deco tanks if the center to center distance is enough. The sizes available are on the makers' sites and on the OMS site. This was done with WWII navy tanks that were sold in the 50's by scuba stores.

check the threads on the manifold to make sure they are 1/2" NPT. If they are....buy a tap and chase them deeper into the cylinders. If you have never used a tap before (or never got a liscense to use a screw driver before.....you know who you are!!!!).....let a machine shop do it for you.
