I will give a free XL t-shirt to whoever comes closest to guessing the actual final bid price of this auction:
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=74003&item=7153565219
It's not every day you see a Northill two hose reg as nice as this, and it's already drawing some heavy bids.
Here is the shirt that you will receive:
This is just for fun - please don't make me cough up a bunch of contest legalese - we just want to have a good time here, all among friends. :-) I would only like to say that I reserve the right to scrap the whole deal if there are any problems. Neither Dan nor I nor Vintage Scuba Supply is affiliated with the seller of said auction, or even familiar with the seller ID.
So, here goes with the details:
1. Make a guess as to what amount in dollars and cents that you think will be the actual final price of the auction.
2. Post your guess here in this thread. PLEASE be logged in when you guess so that I can easily identify you (should you turn out to be the winner). Only one guess allowed per person.
3. The auction ends May-08-05 17:33:37 PDT, and I will attempt to LOCK this thread May-08-05 13:00:00 PDT, barring technical difficulties or other unforeseen problems, at which time no more guesses will be accepted. I am doing this because obviously if you wait until the very last second to post your guess, you will have a much better chance of coming closest... And I think it will be more fun if there are some brave souls out there who want to guess early on. ;D
4. If you intend to bid on the regulator, one might think that would give you a slight advantage in posting a guess, only because you would of course know what you intended to bid. Be that as it may, you will not be excluded from posting a guess if you intend to bid... or not. I just want to keep it simple, so everyone is welcome to post a guess.
5. I will pay to ship your t-shirt, so this really is just for fun, all free, so don't hesitate to make a guess!
6. I think that about covers it, but if I forgot anything, I reserve the right to edit this post. :-)
Don't be shy - let the guessing begin! If you need help logging in, just let me know!
