1960's U.S. Divers Jaguar, also knowns as a Technisub La Spirotechnique Piccolo Pneumatic Spear Gun.
This speargun is in fine working condition, but is sold "as-is"without warranty due to it's age. It holds 22 atmospheres of pressure, making it suitable for any size fish. It is also and elegant looking item and has been a wall hanger for years.
NOTE: Don't fire this gun out of the water, even once. The piston will slam against the barrel flange and break!
The auction includes the speargun, shaft, pump, plus a facsimile of the US Divers repair manual showing all of the parts. It includes a high quality 5 1/2 inch stainless spinner spearpoint with a removal collar.
The "Jaguar" #4021 became famous in 1965 when it was used by 007 James Bond in the film "Thunderball". This Jaguar is the 45 inch movie model, not the shorter 38 inch"Jaguar Cub" #4022 that is often sold as the movie gun.

Everyone had them for the underwater fight scenes. Sean Connery also pins a baddy to a palm tree using a Jaguar with the "I think he got the point" line.
