I have acquired a product that I have no intention of using but I'd like some information about it. It is an Aqua-Lung Heating System: Model No. KS-105. It did not appear on the vintage web site or museum. Does anyone have any information about it?

I'm not actually sure how it works. Apparently some type of component/liquid is placed into it through the removable plate on the rear. There seems to be a low-pressure hose port and a vent adjacent to it.

You have an item there thats rarer than any banjo, or broxton. It is MEGA RARE! Bait for those with lots of money who have to have everything. Put it on EBAY and see what it will fetch! Likely youll get enough to get your kid through college, with change left over!

Hi
I've seen these before, they were another Aqua Lung failure, but as mentioned it may be one of those items collectors may desire.

It sounds to me like it's a device for heating a first stage regulator for ice or cold water diving, to prevent regulator freeze-up. I'm just not sure what it uses for a heat source (electrical or chemical) or how the heat travels back up to the first stage. I suppose if the air is heated inside the hose, it would be transferred back up to the regulator. That's my best guess.

my guess is methane gas.........fitting connects to a long hose with another fitting connecting to the adjustable ortifice and the end of the colon.
