I just got another step closer to having a working Dacor R-4 for the chest-mounted experiment/experience. I reversed the mouthpiece on the regulator. It is now going to be comfortable as a chest-mount regulator. It breaths well too. In order for a chest-mount to work, the mouthpiece must be reversed so as to aim at the divers mouth, and not the regulator. Normally, for a back-mounted double hose regulator, the mouthpiece is aimed at the case. This will put it into the best position for comfort for a back-mounted regulator. But for chest mount, it must be oriented in the opposite direction for comfort. I just reversed that orientation for chest-mounting. I'm thinking of putting it onto my Pacer regulator, rather than my Olympic regulator, first stage. That Pacer is a great regulator too. John
