Guys, I own www.doxa300t.comand I am writing a coffee table book on the history of Doxa and the SUB range ... SUB 300T etc etc. The book is 170 pages at the minute. Lots of photos and a shedload of info that was "lost" for 30 years. I have a bunch of photos of old advertisements for the watches and was looking for more to include in the book. If anyone has any old diving mags or US Divers catalogues from the late 60s and early 70's with any adverts of the Doxa SUB, I'd be really grateful if you could scan them and send them to me. I'll include you in the acknowledgements page and give you a link to the latest revision in PDF format so you can review it. The book should be published in September. I just waiting to review the new 750T, Caribbean and 600T-Graph and it is complete. Thanks. Pete

I am sorry,I have no old catalogs, my mom threw them all away when I went off to school, thanks mom. I remember them in the dive shops and my first instructor and mentor had a USD DOXA. I always wanted one but as a poor teen and then poorer college student I never could afford a DOXA or my other wish, a Royal Aquamaster, and when I could afford them they were all long gone! Hey, put that book down and grab a fins and mask and bring a DOXA next year to the vintage dive in Florida! James

Frank,
It looks like I have a couple of those catelogs. I'll scan the pages, and post them here. I'll also send you copies. Because the ones scanned for the website must be small, I'd like to know the size of the file that you want. Do you want a large size, that you can reproduce full-sized on paper, or a small one?
John

Here are the ads I was able to send to Pete. These are smaller files than I sent to Pete, as he had needs for the larger size, and that size would mess up the site here. John Copyright 1969 U.S. Divers Company

Holy cow, yep, that was back when USD was THE dive equipment company. I spent many a study hall day looking at exactly those adds. Wow, and the best thing is the whole catalog was like that, real dive stuff used by real divers. James
