WTB Voit Mask

I am new here and glad to found this awesome Forum

I'm from germany and collecting James Bond Thunderball props.

Looking for a Voit mask for diving...I've already tried everything ( ebay, AJB James Bond forum, friends ) this is my last resort *lol*

Maybe can someone help?

I've just found this "buy it now" on eBay:

The only problem is that the seller states "posts to the United States". Write to the seller and ask if an exception can be made in your case. I live in the UK and I find it sometimes works if you tell the seller how much the item means to you. The auction address is Vintage AMF VOIT scuba Diving Mask Tempered 88P435 Oval swimming snorkeling NICE.

Blue Voit masks do come up regularly on eBay. New vintage-style blue rubber oval diving masks other than Voit are still available if you look online for stockists in Mexico, Russia and Ukraine.

It's really annoying when an eBay seller won't consider posting to anybody outside their own country.

I'm afraid I don't own any Voit masks, and I only have one Voit item in my vintage gear collection, a pair of Viking A6 fins, which I don't want to part with! Have you found any other Voit gear so far for your James Bond collection?

Nico, welcome: this is the right forum, but what you're asking for is like, well, asking an engineer to sell his calculator Is it only the gear in Thunderball you're looking for or are you interested in newer stuff too?

For a while I thought I wanted to collect Voit gear, but people want way more money for stuff than I think is realistic, so I collect Healthways and Dacor gear. The Healthways gear is super challenging, especially when you find Divair stuff

Some time ago I had the same problem when trying to shop from an ebayseller in UK. The solution was a service called UKmailbox witch offers a British mailaddress where they collect and pass the parcel forward.

There seem to be a lot of similar services in USA.

I found a blue mask in mint condition...but i need for the correct screen accurate TB look a stellring for the mask...
The diameter is 41,5cm...someone can help?

Considering the measurement is as large as 41.5 cm, you must mean the circumference (Umfang) rather than the diameter (Durchmesser), which would typically be in the 12 cm to 18 cm range, depending on how the lens is measured: vertically, horizontally or diagonally?

I don't think you will be able to locate a supplier nowadays who can provide just a replacement metal band (Stellring) for an old-school mask. The only solution I can think of is to order a new retro oval mask from, say, eBay at Oval Old School Mask Tauchermaske diving Mask- Retro Vintage Style BRAND NEW.

There's one available (above) for 29.99 euros complete with the necessary top screw, lens measures 15.5 cm x 12.0 cm and another below

for 25 euros with the lens dimensions 17.5 cm x 12.5 cm. No guarantee that either will fit your blue mask, of course, but it may solve your problem if you remove the band from the new mask and try installing it on your blue mask.

the seller of the masks is a good friend of me and the circumference/scope is 45,5 cm and 47cm.
Unfortunately too big for my Voit mask ;(

He often times finds hard to get items. Above is a link to his page with mask. I am pretty sure he will ship anywhere.
