Do television shows count as "films"? I have some episodes of the original TV series "Flipper" on tape. I love seeing the ones with diving. Just throw the tank on your back and jump out of the boat. Mask, fins (oops! I mean "flippers"), swimming trunks and J-valved tank with only one hose off the 1st stage! The earlier episodes had the double-hoses. Interesting to see the transition in gear through the series from double to single hoses. I sure wish they'd get the whole series out on DVD. Anyone know where 20th Century Fox or others are holding polls to see what the public would like to see put out next? Flipper and Sea Hunt would be on my list.

Hi dogsbodydiving, If I remember correctly they had two troublesome issues ( ok.. maybe thousands..but two that I remember ) with liquid breathing systems, one being hi pnemonia risk after breathing on this stuff and the other being the flourocarbon was not very good at carrying off the Co2. I do not know if they ever did a real "dive" with this stuff or just short lab test runs. Ah ! and there was the issue of this stuff in your stomach.. bet that would give you a case of the runs!!
