yes... box clips are not where they should be and corrosion around label that is up side down. Who knows how many of the internal parts are missing?

This is why you need to be sharp when buying off of Ebay, most people on Ebay are truthful, but at times the same people really don't know anything about what there selling. You have the options to ask question about items before you bid and if you bid with out investigating you take the chance of getting burned or disappointed. Don't expect Ebay to save your day and they still lack good member support.

This isn't the first DA Aqualung with an upside down label. I had one that I traded to Eugene Skin Divers Supply some years ago with an upside down label. I'm pretty sure this came that way from the factory, and would suspect that the one now on e-bay is legit too. Mine had all the internal parts, but it was an upside down black label plate. I think that USD's quality control at the time was a bit lacking on this, and once the lable had been rivited in, it would be difficult to remove it and place it correctly. Maybe that's why they went away from rivits for the label plate.
But, the box clips are in the wrong place, and one may be missing too. In addition, the hose clamps for the mouthpiece are missing too. So someone has at least tampered with this regulator, which would negate some of what the seller is saying.

John, I believe the old Broxton's had a unique one-piece hose assembly - no mouthpiece clamps.

Linda is correct on this point about the mouthpiece being a single unit. I confirmed this in Rick and Barbara Courier's book, Dive, the complete book of skin diving. There are several photos that show this, and also a diagram of the "Tthe Aqualung Regulator" from US Divers which shows both the metal mouthpiece and the integrated mouthpiece/hose assembly. There are no clamps on the mouthpiece in these photos.
