I'm looking for a mouthpiece made by Trident. These were in production at least till 2015, I have an old cat. The part number is RP90 and the description is "Natural Soft Gum Rubber Mouthpiece". These are a brown-fish tan and not black. Just hoping there is a NOS one lurking about out there. I'm going to hit all the local dive shops to see what they have, but thought I'd ask here too. Mark

There's a picture at Shop 709: The page says "In stock! Usually ships within 24 hours" alongside "Sold Out". PS. Just noticed "Trident Rubber Regulator Mouthpiece" at Ocean Enterprises. "Only 1000 left in stock". Same product? DRW

I have one of these mouthpieces on my Scubapro Pilot regulator. It is a very comfortable mouthpiece.

Thanks DRW! However, the one listed on the second site is the black rubber version. I have a local dive shop prying into the issue with Trident, who makes (made) them. It appears that the brown coloured "Gum Rubber" version (the type I'm looking for) is now discontinued?
The mouthpiece in the second link is the same basic type, although not made of gum rubber? This is my second choice, if a NOS can't be located.
This is going on my Healthways Hope-Page Mouthpiece, and from the photos I've seen many of the originals were very close to the brown "gum rubber" versions. So that is why I'm looking for that type.
If I have to "break down" and use a black mouthpiece....then I have a stellar life and this is the ultimate "First World Problem"!
The search continues, thanks for noticing! Mark

Mark, I think I have what you are looking for.
It is an NOS gum rubber mouthpiece, never installed, never submerged, complete with original Panduit zip tie. I believe that I purchased it around the early 1980’s, but kept it in my regulator parts cabinet and never used it.
I tried to attach a couple photos, but the forum post page keeps saying the file is to big. Please let me know your email and I will be happy to send some photos if you are interested.
All the best, Ray Clark
