I am a cheap person and in a situation like that I would not pay over $50. You can get a complete one on ebay for $100 or so. I am not an expert in this, it is just my opion.

Aloha JRVANCE I have an advantage over you in that I am on a dive boat almost every day. I love to show my photos of my vintage dives, and talk vintage. In that last couple of years, I got a Mistral, DA Aqumaster, Voit 50 fathom, and a set of twin 38 tanks donated by folks who had no use for them. My best purchases have been mis listed items on E-bay. I found one listed as a Harpoon gun. When I got into the ad it also mentioned that there was a scuba respirator, and a flotation device included. I got a mint condition USD Arbelate Champion Speargun, a voit float, and a almost unused Mistral. I never met the reserve, and they guy offered to sell me the lot for $80 The best thing to have besides money to spend on E-bay, is time to waste looking at lots of toads, trying to find one frog Prince. Try looking in other catagories, spearguns, computers, masks, and the great catagory, other. Yes, I do have way too many vintage items, just ask my wife. But the hunt and chase, is so much fun. One other catagory, Scuba Lot. I think any Mistral in decent condition, is probably worth $100 Aloha Turtleguy9 Roger

I wouldn't pay over $100, remember most old Mistrals have to be rebulit, which will cost you about $50-$75, if you do the work yourself.
