Many of you are aware of the Mistral/Healthways/Conshelf single stage mashup I've been working on for the past couple years. I have also made a Titan II/Mistral DH conversion. Both are first stages fitted into Mistral cans. The reason for this particular choice is the availability of USD single stage diaphragms and the ability to use a DBE. I might have preferred to go with Dacor DH cans, but the diaphragms are like hen's teeth. The Healthways single stage conversion is a long Scuba valve with a Conshelf balance chamber, modded Conshelf HP soft seat, and a modded HW single hose HP pin with a longer pin. It also features a JB SnorkelJet air director, modified by Vance. The Titan II features a custom 2nd stage and lever, and a modded set of Mistral cans. Both regs use a DBE. JB has helped me with a graphic that is a USD Mistral parody that I'm trying to get made for the Misuba Rev4. Here it is:

That label is hilarious!!! Congratulations. John Thanks, John! For those scratching their heads over the GhostBusters reference, it refers to the plastic SnorkelJet outline:

It ends up looking like this one installed in a Scuba:

V-ance T-he P-ig Lung? How very 1980's of you: back then it was quite the thing to give your band an acronym-name. JB

I ordered some labels. Maybe 28 of them... You can't just get a few. It was only $15. I guess if they don't last, I'll have a couple backups. If y'all want to make some Misuba Rev4s, I got a label for you. We just gotta X out the serial #.

PY, try putting some clear contact paper over your label to protect it...

My HydroTwinII has a slipped label with a peeled up corner which I covered with some heavy clear packing tape. It seems to be pretty durable. I dove it several times and it's still tight. I'm not sure the label would survive trying to remove the tape.
After I ordered the sheet of labels, I saw that the same site offered a heavy duty permanent sticker that I wish I'd gotten instead. Dang! However, there's a local guy, The Label Doctor, who I am trying to enlist in my quest for several other labels for the various project regs I'm working on.
I am struggling with names for my Dacor Olympic conversion, the Conways Balanced Rev1 conversion (no, I didn't forget about it), and the Titan II conversion. They can't all practically name themselves, like the Misuba Rev4 Balanced(?) did. And, the USD parody label concept is used up.
The Misuba Rev4 Balanced(?) started out as a jokey conversion that turned serious with the balanced valve and SnorkelJet improvements, hence the jokey label. But, I think I'd like to come up with a more serious graphic for the others.

I made some adjustments to the Misuba Rev4 Balanced(?) valve. I re-measured the internal bores, and made a revision to the top part where the balance chamber fits. It measures a few thousandths longer than the Conshelf step, so I added the sintered filter shim DAs need when replacing the filter. It comes out within .001" now. I'm dropping the Balanced (?) designation, since the measurements are all within bupkiss. If it's balanced in one, then it's balanced in a virtually identical setup.
